| The Pit Stop is the Sunday Morning Life group for kids in Grades K-5th. This is a large group/small group teaching format. The Concept Pit Stop is built around three Basic Truths every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52. "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." - Luke 2:52 I need to make the wise choice. I can trust God no matter what. I should treat others the way I want to be treated. Each Basic Truth is amplified by a weekly key concept and systematically taught over a three-year track. School-aged children dig into developing their relationship with God. They will learn how to apply the Bible to their everyday lives through engaging activities such as skits, high energy music, games and small group sharing time. This is a place where children will feel welcome and develop meaningful relationships with peers and leaders who have a genuine love for children. In The Pit Stop each week the Host, Storyteller and Worship Leader will engage kids to hear a biblical truth. The creative Large Group Team will engage children while telling Bible stories to teach the monthly virtue. Small Group follows in a setting that gives kids individualized attention from caring leaders and plenty of interaction with a small group of peers. Fall 2007 |
